MELYNDA GERO has spent most of her life engaged with music and children’s education! She has 15 years combined piano, voice, and violin instruction, along with multiple years singing in church, high school, and college choirs. Melynda has a B.S. and M.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in music and taught 1st grade for 9 years in public schools. She spent 3 summers as a camp counselor (2 of those as an assistant Camp Director), and 2 summers working with babies and young children in a day care setting. She has taught children’s Sunday School, led music, and played piano for the children’s Sunday classes as well, including for the nursery age group (18 mo.--3.5 years). Melynda is very excited to run JOYFUL SOUND STUDIO and teach Kindermusik, allowing her to combine her love of music with her love of teaching children. She is married and is the mother of 3 children ages 8, 11, and 14, in addition to 3 step children.
MISS MELYNDA 
DEBBIE YOUNG has been both a Kindermusik owner and educator since 1998! 22 years in Madison, Wisconsin as 'KINDERMUSIK WITH DEBBIE' where she taught over 5,000 students, and then opened up 'JOYFUL SOUND STUDIO' in Leander, Texas Fall 2021. She absolutely LOVES her job and it shows. Debbie has found Kindermusik teaching a wonderful opportunity to combine her love of children with her love of music. She lives with her husband Bob and has four grown children and ten grandchildren who constantly delight her and keep her young at heart.
Debbie has been singing solo and with groups since the age of 8. She privately studied voice and piano for over 12 years. She has worked with children in a variety of settings over the past 40 years, including pre-school co-op teacher and serving as area president of her church's children's and youth programs in south central Wisconsin for nine of those years.
