ILLNESS
If you or your child (or possibly other family members) are ill or suspected to be ill, please stay home and schedule a makeup class. This includes a runny nose that is not clear (use discretion as runny noses due to teething are VERY common at this age), fever, vomiting, etc. Please be fever free for 24 hours before returning to class. We also strongly encourage all families to clean hands (with hand sanitizer or soap and water) at the beginning and end of each class.
MISSED CLASSES
Any and all missed classes can be made up in any class that has space while you are still enrolled with us. Just contact Miss Melynda or Miss Debbie to schedule a make up.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If Leander Schools are closed for inclement weather, we will be too. Otherwise we will have class. If classes close, we will schedule an extra make up day(s) at the end of the unit.
CLEANING OF INSTRUMENTS
After every class, all instruments/props mouthed during class will be cleaned with Seventh Generation Disenfectant Spray, a Norwex cloth, Clorox wipe, or disinfectant dish soap and water (depending upon the instrument/material).
FOOD AND DRINK
We will keep the Kindermusik classroom free from food. Water bottles are allowed if necessary. Some of our children or adults have allergies and we want to keep our space safe for everyone. There are also plastic disposable cups next to the sink for drinks.
MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS
Rather than have you pay tuition for the entire year at the start of your class, we have taken the TOTAL cost for the school year (30 classes + 2* set of home materials) and divided that total into 9 equal installments, billed the first of each month, September through May. This makes it easier for families to budget. We are not 'pay by the month.' Each month you will be paying a portion of your home materials fee + a portion of the total class tuition, working towards paying for the total fee for the school year.
*Foundations classes have 4 sets of home materials
CANCELLATIONS
Easy in, but easy out. Families love Kindermusik so much that we make it easy to stay enrolled. We simply assume you're here to stay until the end of the school year unless you let us know otherwise. If you need to cancel your enrollment (two months minimum required enrollment), all we require is written notice 30 days in advance. We run separate sessions in the summer.
Note: Families will still be responsible for any home materials received, as well as music access and tuition for classes that took place during their period of enrollment (including the last 30 days after notice was given). This may result in a debit or credit to the family, depending on the installments paid so far towards the total yearly fee.
GUEST SIBLINGS
My older child doesn't have school today, may they join us in class?
Yes, siblings are welcome as a guest on the rare occassion that their schedule has changed. Siblings that attend regularly will be charged sibling tuition.
